Belmont Stakes hopeful Casino Drive has been scratched from the 2008 Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 7, at Belmont Park due to a bruised left hind hoof.
Earlier, trainer Fujisawa was all smiles after watching Casino Drive canter three furlongs and gave a thumbs up for colt to run in the Belmont.
But when the colt was being bathed following the exercise regimen, he was favoring his foot and the trainer decided to scratch.
Now that Casino Drive is scratched off the Belmont Stakes, will Big Brown be the 2008 Belmont Stakes winner and become the 12th Triple Crown victor? Check out Belmont Stakes betting odds and make your picks!
